The ENISA Telecom Security Forum brings together cybersecurity experts from the telecom sector, national authorities, and cybersecurity policymakers to discuss key challenges in telecom security, such as espionage in telecom networks, the resilience of subsea cables, and cutting-edge technologies.
On 20 March, ENISA is organising the 2026 ENISA Telecom and Digital Infrastructure Security Forum in Paphos, Cyprus, co-organised with the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The forum brings together EU telecom authorities, 5G experts from the NIS Cooperation Group, industry specialists, and the wider cybersecurity community for open strategic and technical discussions in a private setting (no streaming, no recording).
Key topics
- Cyber-attacks on the telecom networks
- Resilience of the networks, focusing on power supply dependencies
- New telecom networks, new technologies
- EU policy changes and challenges for the sector
Join us in Paphos to discuss pressing telecom security topics with policymakers, telecom regulators, and experts from across the sector.
Background
Since 2010 ENISA has worked closely with the national telecom security authorities, establishing ECASEC, a working group of experts from national authorities from across the EU, and several EEA, EFTA and EU candidate countries. The ECASEC group, formerly known as ENISA Article 13a group, is now a part of the NIS Cooperation Group, as a subgroup of the 5G/Telecoms cybersecurity workstream. The goal of the ECASEC group is to discuss and agree on a harmonized approach to telecom security measures, incident reporting, and supervision of the EU’s telecom sector. The ENISA telecom security forum is a continuation of a series of meetings, previously called ENISA Article 13a Open Day. This is the 6th edition of the ENISA Telecom Security Forum.
